Life

Dionisia was born on March 12, 1691, in Calumpit, Bulacan to half-Kapampangan parents. Together with her sister Cecilia Rosa De Jesus Talangpaz, they settled down near the shrine of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Manila. Their devout life attracted the attention of the shrine's caretakers, Augustinian Recollects, and by July 1725, the sisters received the habit of tertiaries and were gathered in a beaterium.

Beaterio de San Sebastian

They established the "Beaterio de San Sebastian de Calumpang". After years, they headed a congregation called "Augustinian Recollect Sisters."

Death

In 1732, Dionisia died a year after her sister, Cecilia, who died in 1731.

Servant of God

On 10 September 1999, she (together with her sister) had their causes for beatification opened, bestowed with the go-signal "Nulla Osta" and thereby giving them the titles "Servants of God."
