Dipivefrine is a prodrug of epinephrine (adrenaline), which is used to treat glaucoma. It is available as ophthalmic solution. It causes vasoconstriction, decreased aqueous humor production, and decreases intraoccular pressure. It is converted to epinephrine upon penetration of the cornea.
