Dirty Deeds is a 2005 comedy film directed by David Kendall, produced by Bill Civitella and Dan Kaplow; written by John Land and Jonathan Thies. It was released on August 25, 2005 in the United States and filmed in Los Angeles, California.
The plot is about a high school student Zach Harper (Milo Ventimiglia) who tries to complete the "Dirty Deeds" — an outrageous series of ten challenges that must be completed between dusk and dawn on the Friday night of Homecoming Weekend. In the movie, only one other student has completed all the tasks (8 at the time, two new tasks are added after as per the games rules), Duncan Rimes in 1989 (Todd Ziele).
Initially, Meg’s brother wants to complete the deeds to get himself out of being consistently bullied by the jocks. However, Zach took up this challenge to save the kid brother of Meg (Lacey Chabert) from embarrassment in doing the deeds at her insistence, though she did not mean for Zach to actually do the challenge himself. He also took up the challenge to prove himself to the school jocks who try everything possible to prevent him from completing all of the deeds. Along Zach’s way of attempting to complete all of the deeds, he takes up the help of the people around him to get the deeds done. While doing so, Zach and Meg end up creating a romantic story of their own.
