Discovery Civilization Channel is a Canadian English language category 2 digital cable specialty channel owned by CTV Speciality Television Inc. (CTVglobemedia 80%/ESPN 20%) in partnership with Discovery Communications with programming about the history of human civilization and current trends in society.

The channel was originally a Canadian version of an American channel with the same name, which was later reformatted and renamed Discovery Times, and later became Investigation Discovery. However, the Canadian channel has continued to offer much of the U.S. channel's original programming (currently predominantly criminal procedure series) throughout its myriad incarnations.
