Doddington Hall is an Elizabethan mansion complete with walled courtyards and a gabled gatehouse. It is located near the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England.
Doddington Hall stands today as it was completed in 1600; it was probably built by Robert Smythson. It has never been sold and its varied contents reflect 400 years of unbroken family occupation with fine textiles, porcelain, furniture and pictures. The Hall is still very much a family home.
The Hall is surrounded with 6 acres (24,000 m2) of romantic walled and wild gardens with a continuous pageant of colour from earliest spring till autumn.
The Hall and Gardens are regularly open to the public, and private tours of the house and gardens are possible.
There are summer concerts in the Long Gallery, occasional exhibitions and school visits.
