Simon Hill AKA Donkhole (Born 7 March, 1987 in Walsall,England) is an English Co-Presenter and Producer for Kerrang! Radio. He Began his Radio career working on 'Tim Shaw's Asylum' as a character that was the aim for Presenter Tim Shaw to take advantage of and to abuse his common and broad accent amongst other interpretations . The character he played became popular with the older listeners. Simon gained extra popularity after a video was recorded by a listener in the Kerrang! Studio on the show where he was tied up and repeatedly hit with sexual instruments by various Guests and members of Kerrang! Radio.

Career

Before Kerrang Radio

Simon spent a lot of his Early life on Jobseekers allowance as he could not settle in a job and was repeatedly getting fired. Which was apparently one of the reasons that Tim Shaw wanted him on The Show. It is believed that Simon worked at various Retail Outlets, at one time whilst working At Kerrang! Radio it was Broadcast that he was also working for JJB a sports shop in his home town of Walsall, it was alleged he got fired for aggressive behaviour.

The Asylum

He began his radio career on January 13th , 2007 where he Started working on the largest night time Radio show Within the U.K with Shock Jock Tim Shaw. where he first went by the name 'Little Donkey' which was a nickname he had been called at school, after several months on the show he eventually became a well established part of the Kerrang! Team. He also developed a close friendship with show Producer Lucy Helliwell better known as 'Juicy Lucy', It was rumoured that Simon split up with his long term girlfriend because she found out That he was having an affair with Lucy.

Holocaust Interview

One of Donkhole's responsibilities was to help sell Copies of the very well know Interview with Kitty Hart-Moxon, a survivor of the Holocaust and the death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Which was Conducted By Kerrang! Radio's Tim Shaw in Late 2006. The aim was to sell the interview to raise money for charity and it was known that over 1000 copies and nearly £2000 was raised for the Holocaust Memorial Foundation, The Nationally Renowned Interview became Shocking and Gripping to those who had the chance to listen to the Audio as they were sold through EBay.

The Morning After

Simon only made a hand full of appearences on The Morning After with Kate Lawler due to another role that the managment of Kerrang! Radio had for him. It was also said that the managment of The Station did not think Simon was good enough to Co-Present on The Morning Show. This was said to have upset Tim Shaw and Juicy Lucy as they were not used to working With Newcomer 'Kebab Van Dan'.

Other Apperances Since The Asylum

Donkhole's Real Name (Simon Hill) was discovered on a show he once again Co-presented with specialist music DJ 'Tim Warwood' which was aired in late December. This was thought to be his Return to air but was only counted as a one off. It was understood that this was the biggest show of the Christmas period drafting in over 60,000 listeners

TV

He made an apperance on ITV1's Pulling Power with Mike Brewer. He made Only a brief apperance as Tim Shaw's Asylum was Filmed for The very Entertaining and popular Car show which Tim Shaw appeared on to flash his new 50p Car.

Donk Whipped Video

This Video was Filmed in The Kerrang! Studio When Two lads were Invited To Kerrang! Radio to speak to Tim about the recording of 'The White Room' (a show Tim Shaw Will be Presenting on TV later this year). On that night they had braught a video camera to the Building to show Tim There Filming Skills and techniques. The end product was a video of Donkhole getting whipped by various staff members of Kerrang! Radio and Guests that were there that night.

Reaction

The Reaction to the video was huge as it leaked onto Popular Internet Based Broadcasting site Youtube. The Amount Of viewings were upto 120,00 people before it was flagged and removed, only to be recentley Re-Instated.
It was understood that the bosses of Kerrang! were less than impressed with what took place in a Working Radio station and Fined The Team two weeks wages.

Asylum DVD

We Now Know that there is a DVD from Tim Shaw's Asylum but it is said that the only people to have a copy are Simon, Tim Shaw and Juicy Lucy. The DVD was to feature Tim, Donkhole And Juicy Lucy on The last ever Tim Shaw's Asylum.
