Personal life

Leitch was born in England, the son of Enid Karl (née Stulberger), a model, and Donovan, a singer/songwriter.[1] His father is Scottish and his mother an American of Jewish descent.[2] He is the brother of actress Ione Skye. After Leitch's parents separated when he was three, he was raised by his mother in the Hollywood Hills of California.[3]

After dating several models, he married Scottish model Kirsty Hume. Their Scottish wedding was covered in InStyle and Vogue magazines. She has appeared on the cover of many fashion magazines including Vogue on October 1994, November 1995, and February 1997. Kirsty also appeared in a GAP maternity advertisement in May 2004. She was known for her extremely long, smooth blonde hair. Many in the fashion industry said that she has the "best hair in the business." Their daughter, Violet Jean Leitch, was born 21 March 2004 at home in Los Angeles, California.
