Doom Runners is a 1997 science fiction television children's film about a group of children in a post-apocalyptic world searching for the last unpolluted place on Earth, New Eden. However, the Doom Troopers (DTs), led by Dr. Kao (Tim Curry), want to get there first and will do anything to stop the children.
Produced in cooperation with Nickelodeon, the telefilm was also telecast on Nickelodeon on April 25, 1998, the first original full-length feature film ever to air on Nickelodeon.[2]
The film features hoverboards (like windsurf boards) and a dog with an electronic muzzle (that prevents it from biting but allows it to bark).
