Doraemon The Movie: Nobita's Great Battle of the Mermaid King (映画ドラえもん のび太の人魚大海戦 Eiga Doraemon Nobita no Ningyo Daikaisen), also known as DORAEMON THE LEGEND 2010, is an anime movie that will be released on March 6, 2010. This movie is part of the celebration for the franchise's 40th anniversary and it's 30th movie anniversary (映画ドラえもん30周年 Eiga Doraemon 30 Shunen).[1][2] It is also expected to be released in Hong Kong and in Singapore in 2011.

Nobita felt like diving in his town. So, Doraemon uses Underwater Pump Simulator (架空水面シミュレーター・ポンプ) to pump all the water to fill up water in his town. That night, Doraemon and Nobita used Diving Mask Simulator to dive underwater in Nobita's town. Later on, lots of fishes in his town, and shark attacks Doraemon and his friends. So, Doraemon put a stop on the Underwater Pump Simulator, but there is a girl named Sophia, lay down on the bushes in his town.
