DORCHESTER SPORTS are a football club in
Dorchester, Dorset, England. They play their home games at the
Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre, Dorchester. The club was formed in
the summer of 2007. Known as ‘Sports’, Sports start their life in
Dorset Saturday league division 4. Dorchester Sports are highly
tipped to win the division as the majority of the squad have played
at a significantly higher level, in recent seasons. The club was
formed by Ashley James, 22, whose vision was to form a team of his
old school friends. All the players are ex-class mates of each
other and this season has been the first opportunity for this to be
possible, due to work, and those living away at
university.
