Doright is a now retired British rock band,
who saw the height of its success back in the late
80's. The band was known for their
motivational, uplifting lyrics, positive attitude onstage, and
overall rock factor. Much like other bands of the era, the group's
wild success was contrasted by their troubled personal
lives.
The band's greatest hit, "Come On!" was a smash success,
garnering each member lifelong achievement and
fame.
Members
Sampson Cloud
The band's foreman,
Cloud was a sex icon and force-to-be-reckoned-with in his role as
the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Known for his long,
flowing, blonde mullet, Cloud's high pitched singing voice struck a
chord with thousands of young girls worldwide. However, all was not
well with the "Golden Wonder." A severe
heroin addiction
forced not only the band to retire, but ultimately led to Mr.
Cloud's demise.
Snake
Best known for his claim to have
had
sex with over 5000 women,
the band's bass guitarist and keyboard player was the band's "wild
child." An African-British man in his alluring prime, women
worldwide were infatuated with his exotic sex appeal and
notoriously large
genitalia.
Alcoholism led him into rehab in the early
90s.
Max Kulick
A late-adopter of the "
axe," the band's lead guitarist first
pumped out his gutwrenching solos in his native
Liverpool,
England. The band's soft-spoken "anchor," Kulick remained
consistently explosive onstage while the rest of the band crumbled
with personal issues.
Randy Wilde
The band's moustachioed
drummer, Wilde was best known previously to his Doright tenure for
his renowned career in the world of adult films. After retiring
from the "porno biz," Wilde joined up with longtime chum Sampson
Cloud in Doright. His drum beats were an essential, but largely
forgettable, part of the band's sound.
Breakdown
At the
commencement of the 1990's, the band's producer and manager,
Big Murder,
decided to shut the group down due to his growing frustrations with
Snake and Sampson Cloud's demons. Big Murder himself was suffering
from depression and a sex addiction. Today, besides Cloud, who
passed away, the band's members are estranged and largely unknown.
Kulick moved from
Bryn Mawr, PA back to his hometown of
Liverpool, Snake settled down with his sugar sister, and Wilde
returned to the adult film industry.
