Douains is a commune in the Eure department in the Haute-Normandie in northern France, six kilometres from Vernon.

The 1999 census reported 465 inhabitants (called Duniens). The current mayor of Douains is Nicole Nuyens who has held office since 2001.

Douains is the home of the famous animal cemetery "Les Jardins du Souvenir", which was founded in 1999 with about 400 tombs.
