Doug Stephan live from Santa Fe

Doug Stephan (born in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is a radio talk show personality and the host of the nationally syndicated Doug Stephan's Good Day, which airs six days per week. Good Day is not an angry political talk show, but features a fast paced entertaining format with a variety of topics, upbeat co-hosts and interviews. Typical listeners are independent thinkers who call in and contribute to the show, giving it a personal atmosphere.

Good Day airs "live" 5-10 AM ET Monday through Friday and on Saturday (Good Day Weekend) airing live from 6-9 AM. The show is broadcast nationally via various full-time networks (Radio America, Business TalkRadio Network, CRN Digital Talk Radio Networks, among others) through his own company, Stephan Multimedia, with separate syndication handled by United Stations Radio Networks. According to Talkers Magazine estimates, Good Day has over 3 million listeners per week on over 300 stations.

Doug Stephan found his radio voice as a deejay in the early 1960s and, being more glib than most, was destined to be a full time talker. He broadcasts from his home in Framingham, Massachusetts where he operates a dairy farm. Everyday farm happenings are one of the charming aspects of the show.

Stephan also hosts the Saturday morning Talk Radio Countdown, a countdown of the top 10 topics discussed in talk radio. Talkers Magazine publisher Michael Harrison (publisher) is a frequent guest on this show. Talk Radio Countdown airs live Saturdays from 6-9 AM ET, also distributed by STEPHAN MULTIMEDIA - 650-654-3969.

Other ventures

Stephan's Tiffin Broadcasting, LLC owns WTTF AM, 1600 kHz in Tiffin, Ohio, where he started his commercial radio career, and attended Tiffin's Heidelberg College. Stephan is planning to donate WTTF, currently being operated on his behalf by former owner BAS Broadcasting, to the college for educational purposes. [1]

A company controlled by Stephan also owns WSDE AM, 1190 kHz in Cobleskill, New York, west of Albany.

Both WTTF and WSDE are affiliates of Stephan's "Good Day" program. [2] [3]
