Douglas Eivind Hall has written some poems including a few prayers. Two were copywritten on a poetry website, one under Douglas E Hall and another under the spur-of-the-moment invented pseudonym "Peter N. Wynn". The poem called "Untitled" was written in 2003 CE in Virginia Beach on a cloudy day. The other, "The Magic Garden" was composed later that year in Southern Spain, reflecting on a happy memory of a childhood backyard in England. These were the only two written that were made public in text.

D. E. Hall was originally inspired to begin writing prayers in the spring of 2002 after hearing and reading the Bahai faith´s wonderful writings in Northern Virginia which were translated from the original Farsi and Arabic into English. The first one was originally entitled "Shakhinah" which comes from the Hebrew "divine spirit" and was a very old reference to a ancient Jewish God, and was later changed to "The Light." This reflected a significant time in his life where his circumstances changed. Another prayer was about an experience which occurred many years after the previous prayer. A third simple prayer was one meant to be used at a meal, simple in nature. The fourth is perhaps an expression of deep repressed anger. He enjoyed reading a couple of his prayers at fireside chats at a Bahai setting which was open to non-Bahais as well as members of this religion originally from Persia.

He wrote more non-prayer poetry later. One is about a very accomplished female singer whom he learned about for the first time at a concert in Washington DC, another a sexy club singer, one about a strong female stage actress, one about fantasizing about being a pilot, one was written when he was smitten with a Colombian woman. Some of these have tended to be somewhat licentious. Others tend to be very childish in nature. He gave his collection of poems to several people while his attempt to write in Spanish led to an opening which led to nowhere.

Hall is a member of the Undergraduate Psy Chi Psychology Honor Society attached to the Hunter College (City Universtiy of New York) but has not published or presented any written studies or papers while he studied at this University. The book he wrote called "Intelligence Unraveled" was never printed off his computer nor shared with anyone. However, cd´s containing the book were thrown-away and the file was possibly downloaded off his pc from being connected to the internet. He never intended the book to be read by others because it was simply an exercise in writing and was done in haste and frustration.

D.E.H. also published some internet material on the internet on no-cost websites such as geocities.com but they very sporadic and unorganized at best. He has sent many emails under a variety of names on free email services and has sent some written and printed letters to a number of people including many whom he has never met in person. This outlet of expression is perhaps the most bizarre form of his text writings. His school, college, and university writings were fairly simple in nature yet well-grounded.

Douglas was born August 21, 1968 in Massachusetts, U.S.A. He began formal education in Britain, continued in Spain, and then in the States where he completed a B.S., started another Bachelor´s (psychology) and began an M.B.A. He was also accepted into a Master´s in Elementary Education while enrolling in classes at another education college, and also enrolled in about half-a-dozen classes but finished only one course at yet another university where he enjoyed sitting in on many others as well.

In 1972 he was airlifted from Great Britain to Vietnam and dropped in the Cambodia-Laos jungle in an operation which was spying on the basis for the movie Predator, where a Israeli commando operation was tracking a US Army Special Forces patrol. The Israeli was depicted in the movie as being an alien from another planet. Hall was close to him when he was hit by gunfire and heard him radio up in Hebrew. Meanwhile he was punching a toy in mimicry with different musical sounds. The American patrol communication officer heard the Hebrew but never knew what the musical sounds where so that is where the alien part comes from. The Israeli was rescued by his team and then Hall and his female companion later were. The Israelis never knew who was spying on them until recently. The American team was ever more in the dark of the British operation since the Israeli commando and his support team where their main focus. Hall has recently met the Israeli commando and some of his support team and also three of the American patrol including the only one was was listening in the rear who was never sure what was the other sounds beside the Hebrew radio call to rescue the injured Israeli.

From July 1, 1986 to April 8, 1988 he was in the United States Armed Forces (special grade - Army) from where he received a medical discharge (Honorable Discharge). Cadet Hall was awarded the Army Expert Marksman Badge at Camp Buckner in the summer of 1987. He spent a month at Walter Reade Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. in the autumn of 1987 where he signed his release form under the care of the Navy´s Dr. Emmanuel.

In 2005 he began receiving benefits with the U.S. Social Security Administration (Social Security Disability Insurance) in agreement with the Spanish Social Security system (European Union). Hall has Spanish residency while maintaining his American nationality.

Mr. Hall has worked a wide-variety of jobs, spent time in many psychiatric and a few regular hospitals and a couple jails, traveled to a number of countries (including the Gaza strip), married in a lovely Catholic Church in Medellin, Colombia and lived with his wife for a couple years in the States, visited a few prostitutes, done some television and theator, and has enjoyed many sports. One painting hangs in a cafe in Mijas, Spain.

While not officially a Christian (Lutheran) he has enjoyed Judaism very much and has participated in a number of classes and services. He has experienced many friendships while growing up but moved an immense amount throughtout his life and was seeing a psychoanalyst in New York City which was basically a sounding-board and a reminder of the important Jewish holidays.

There has been some speculation about his sexuality but there is no evidence he has ever been with a man although he performed in a play in NYC where during the performance his character kissed the other male actor once. Otherwise there has been no sexual contact with another man. He appears at times to be slightly effeminate but is strictly straight and heterosexual.

Despite having lived with two separate women and having had numerous affairs there is no evidence of any offspring or children. He has never sold his semen to a spermbank but some speculate that women have impregnated themselves with his seed for some bizarre reasons.

His latest love interests in Spain include the Mayoress of his town, Esperanza Oña Sevilla and the Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, although he seems to have only briefly met one and seen the other.
Apparently he is trying to charm Esperanza with gifts, and rumour has it that he likes to hang-out in the Townhall in hopes of a chat or perhaps a coffee; some have heard him say how he can see her going straight to the top of Spanish politics. He also has his eyes on Penelop and he has been heard to say how her grace and charm on the bigscreen puts her up there with the likes of Marilyn Monroe.
