Downtown slick is an american pop punk band from Sacramento, California made up of four teenage boys.
Although the boys are into the party scene and up-beat songs, They still have some dark storys to tell in an up-beat funny ironic way.

With original Drummer Kerina blue, D.t.s. recorded several recordings on cassets at kerinas house, now lost.

Chuck(also goes by carlos) was introduced to david in the seventh grade when talking to freind micheal about starting/ joining a band. That same day chuck asked david if he played an instrument david replied "yeah. i play cello." That year on davids birth day david recived a bass from his dad. So two months later on the 6th of july 2007 chuck and david recruited fellow guitar player alberto and davids freind tekla to join a band called "Seven Day Fall."
That year do to some problems with alberto being uncooperative S.D.F. broke up leaving behind nothing but a casset of cover songs of Fall out boy and Blink-182.

In November of 2007 chuck and david ended up starting a new band "in the backseat." with new drummer kerina blue the band was ok but they were missing one thing, a 2nd guitarist.

so chuck gave out flyers at his school stating that in the backseat needed a 2nd guitar player only to get a response from bestfreind john saying that his brother shane plays all sorts of music especialy stuff by Nirvana.
To this day shane remains in this band but as a vocalist and rhythem guitar player.
Chuck posted a flyer at a local music shop stating in the backseat needs a drummer.
and got a reply from a lady named bendan blue saying that her daughter plays drums.
the band was so desperate or a drummer they did an interview over the phone and was impressed with kerinas style and skill. later that month, Kerinas sister juliana gave i.t.b.s. a variety of names that were requested for the band to change to due to a lot of other bands named in the backseat.
The band was afraid of copyright laws so they changed the name to Downtown Slick.
The band borrowed the name from kerinas sister.

In february 2008 davids dad died, setting the band back alot.

In march 2008 kerina left the band due to musical diffrences.

on april 24 2008 anthony evans joined the band now known as downtown slick
<br>

On april 24 an old freind anthony evans joined Downtown slick.
The band is currently set on Only if.../ Uranus on fire records.
