draugiem.lv is a local social networking site in Latvia. The site was the idea of Lauris Liberts, who created it around the beginning of 2004. The site has gained popularity over time and as of November 5th, 2006 has almost 760,000 users involved.

The site began as a simple tool to find friends and contact them. The initial interface was Latvian. However; by gaining more popularity, the site is now available in many different languages, and the site offers many more services than contacting friends. For example, you can now contact them through the site!

Registration to the site is only possible by an invitation from a current user.
