Critics' response to the movie was negative. Most critics blamed the weak storyline. Some critics also noted that the film belongs to a genre which is very rare in Bollywood films[5].
The movie had average opening but fell short by the coming days. Overall the huge budget of the movie could not be covered at the box office. The film has been a horrific disaster.[6]
