Duane Lee Chapman II. (born January 21, 1973 (1973-01-21) (age 37), in Pampa Texas) and is a Hawaii-based bail bondsman and bounty hunter. He currently resides in Hawaii, and works within a family run bail bonds business across the Hawaiian islands. He is best known for his part in the reality hit A&E Network television show as the second son of Dog the Bounty Hunter.[1]

While working in the bail bonds business and as a bounty hunter, Duane Lee worked as a financial and retirement consultant, a carpenter, and a construction contractor with his step-father in Colorado Springs.

Family and Personal Life

Duane Lee's mother is La Fonda Sue Darnall (née Honeycutt). His father is Duane "Dog" Chapman, better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter. Duane Lee was 3 years old when Dog went to prison. While his father was incarcerated, Duane Lee's parents divorced and he didn't see his father again until he was 11 years old when Dog gained visitation rights to see him and his brother, Leland. It took a very long time for the boys to trust Dog and to bond with Duane Lee and Leland.

Duane Lee lived in Pampa Texas in his early years but during his teen years moved to Colorado Springs. Duane Lee works in the family run bail bonds business with his younger brother, Leland Chapman. He has a son named Dylan Chapman. He is divorced. [2]

Duane Lee has recently embarked on a new business venture with two of his brothers, Leland Chapman and Wesley Chapman. Together they have formed Chapbros Media and have launched an iPhone, iPod touch and website talent contest application called Show Off. [3]

As of March 1, 2010, they no longer sell clothing, stating that personal reasons (family, work) have kept them from devoting the necessary time to manage that aspect of their business. They were on Facebook, but have since closed their accounts for the same reasons listed above (not enough time).

When asked about having pets in a recent interview with A&E Insider, he replied, 'I used to have a Lhasa Apso dog named Chewy, and a little Chihuahua named Chip. But when I got divorced, I lost all my pets. So I'm starting over now.' [4]

He currently lives in Hawaii with his son Dylan, and their dog Koa.
