Dve Mogili Municipality is located in Rousse Province, Bulgaria. The administrative centre is in Dve Mogili. The population of the municipality is 10,457 [1]. There has been a substantial population drop as the number was 11,767 in 2005.


It covers an area of 345 square kilometres (13.1% of Rousse Province's total area) and includes the following 12 places:

  • Baniska
  • Batishnitsa
  • Bazovets
  • Chilnov
  • Dve Mogili
  • Karan Varbovka
  • Katselovo
  • Mogilino
  • Ostritsa
  • Pepelina
  • Pomen
  • Shirokovo

A notable sight in the area is the Orlova Chuka cave, the second-longest in the country at 13.5 kilometres. It was accidentally discovered in 1941.
