EC3 Global is an international environmental management and certification company, with clients in over 60 countries. Among them are National Park agencies, community organizations, Government regulators and some of the world’s largest hotel and travel groups. It acts as the commercialisation arm of the not for profit Sustainable Tourism CRC (STCRC), and provides an array of programs and services for companies, communities and other interest groups to set and achieve sustainability targets. With origins leading back to 1987, EC3's research [1] encompasses 250 tourism and environmental sustainability leaders in 16 universities [2].

EC3 Global’s science and systems power some of the world’s most comprehensive environmental programs. It's technology was used to underpin brands such as Green Globe and, through their wholly owned subsidiary Green Globe Asia Pacific, EC3 Global holds the exclusive license to use the Green Globe brand in the Asia Pacific, as well as non-exclusive rights for the rest of the world.
