The EMERK is an rifle currently in partial issue in Burma as the EMERK-1 and EMERK-3. The EMERK is a 5.56x45mm bullpup rifle roughly based on the Chinese QBZ rifle, but with additional features taken from the American M16 and British SA80.

The EMERK accepts STANAG magazines, as does the K1 LMG (light machinegun) variant. Both variants fire at 650rpm, with the rifle weighing 4.5kg and the LMG 5.0kg. Both are rated accurate to 400m.
