Edmund Patrick "Eddie" Cahill (born January 15, 1978) is an American actor best known for playing the role of Det. Don Flack on CBS's CSI: NY.[1] Eddie married his longtime girlfriend Nikki Uberti on July 12, 2009. The couple had a baby girl in early December 2009.[citation needed]

Cahill was born in New York City, New York. He is the middle child; he has one older and one younger sister. He is of Irish and Italian descent.[2] Cahill graduated from Byram Hills High School in Armonk, New York in 1996. He later attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York and the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.[3]
Cahill performed in Nicky Silver's Off-Broadway production of The Altruists in 2000.[4] He was noticed, and shortly after made several television guest star appearances including Sex and the City, Charmed, Felicity, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Haunted, and Dawson's Creek. Cahill was also a recurring guest star in the comedy Friends as Rachel's young assistant and boyfriend, Tag Jones. In 2002 he starred in a short-lived WB drama, Glory Days. In 2004, Cahill played his boyhood hero, goalie Jim Craig, in the hockey movie Miracle.[5]
