Kopko was born in Connecticut and resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.[2][3]

Kopko holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in economics from Columbia University.[2][4]

Career

Kopko was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Publisher of CE Group and Chief Executive Magazine. [5][6]

Kopko was President and Chief Executive Officer of Butler International Inc., a worldwide provider of technical and technology services, from 1987 - March 2009.[2]

Kopko is Editor of the 'Best and Worst States' web site which provides information and facts about the best and worst aspects of individual American states.[7]

Kopko is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Economic Education, a non-political, non-profit educational organization promoting individual liberty, private property, the free market and constitutionally limited government. [8]

Kopko received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 1999 from the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations.[9]
