Edwin Orin Wood (October 29, 1861 - 1918) was the Democratic state chair from Flint, Michigan in 1904.

Biography

He was born at Goodrich, Michigan on October 29, 1861 to Thomas Parmalee Wood and Paulina M. Wood, both of whom came from western New York. The grandfather and great grandfather of Thomas Parmalee Wood served in the Revolutionary War. [1] He was member of the Democratic National Committee from Michigan from 1908 to 1916. He was also a delegate to 1912 Democratic National Convention and 1916 Democratic National Convention.[2] He died on April 23, 1918 in Pasadena, CA. His body was returned to Flint, MI and is buried at Glenwood Cemetery with his wife Emily and sons Dwight Hulbert Wood and Albert Crocker Wood. The parents of the subject of this sketch lived together sixty-two years and are buried in the Goodrich cemetery.
