Eke Uzoma (born July 19, 1989 in Lagos, Imo State[1]) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for TSV 1860 München in Germany.

Career

His first real impact in the German football world came when he scored a goal against 1. FC Köln on September 26, 2007, in only his fourth match. This goal was voted goal of the week on German football show Sportschau and was nominated for goal of the month . In 2009, he helped SC Freiburg earn promotion to the Fußball-Bundesliga[2]. On 1 January 2009, he was loaned to TSV 1860 München[3].

Background

On 24 October 2009 he made his first appearance at the Fußball-Bundesliga for SC Freiburg and became the 5,000th player in the history of the Bundesliga.[4]
