Ella Taylor was a film critic for the LA Weekly, an alternative newspaper based in Los Angeles. She was laid off in early 2009.[1] Before being hired by the Weekly, she was a longtime television critic. Taylor is the author of the book Prime-Time Families: Television Culture in Post-War America (1991).
She has also written film reviews for The Village Voice.
