Ellen Taylor Marlow (born February 22, 1994) is a young American actress. She played Jemima Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway and Claire Lyons in The Clique movie based on the books by Lisi Harrison.

Life

Ellen's early education was in the Texas school system, but after beginning her formal acting career in Chitty, she alternated between private tutoring and the Burbank California public school system as her acting career allowed until she formally signed with Quality Education by Design (QED), a homeschool educational consultancy.^[1] She is a native of the state of Texas and currently resides in Los Angeles,California. Ellen is back in Burbank after finishing filming The Clique.

Career

Marlow originated in the lead role of Jemima Potts in the Broadway production of the Tony-nominated musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the age of 10. Winning the coveted role led to her moving to New York City. This role led to her role as Katarina in the stage reading of the musical adaption of Zhivago. She has made numerous appearances on shows like The Today Show. She played the lead role of Claire Lyons in The Clique Movie, the film adaptation based on the books of Lisi Harrison. She also played Young Fiona in the 2008 Sundance Film Festival^[2] Quid Pro Quo. She will then-again be reprising her role as Claire Lyons in The Clique 2: Best Friends for Never in 2010. In 2006, she appeared in a T-Mobile alongside Erin Sanders.
