The Episcopal Diocese of Western Kansas, created in 1971, is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America with jurisdiction over western Kansas. It was formerly the Episcopal Diocese of Salina and is in Province 7. Its cathedral, Christ Episcopal Cathedral, is in Salina, as are the diocesan offices. [1]


Current bishop

The Rt. Rev. James M. Adams is the fourth and current bishop of Western Kansas. He has a master's in divinity and an honorary doctorate from General Theological Seminary in New York City.[2]
