EtherBoy is the upcoming debut studio
album from hip hop producer and rapper Ron Browz.
Background
It was originally going to be called Jumping Out The
Window, however the name was later changed to
EtherBoy. It was scheduled to be released on June 30, 2009
by Universal
Motown. The album got delayed from March 17th. The album was
not released on June 30 and is scheduled to be released on December
29, 2009 according to his Facebook page.[1]
In late 2008, Ron Browz started working on his solo album with
the help of the autotune. Browz was scheduled to release
the album on June 30, 2009 under Universal Motown, but rumors say that
he didn't release it because of Jay-Z's "D.O.A.
(Death of Autotune)". He has recently stopped using autotune on
his songs, which can be heard on songs such as "She's What I Like"
feat. Bobby
Valentino, "She's My Homie" feat. Oshy, and the "20 Dollars
Remix" feat. Mase, OJ da Juiceman,
Jim Jones & Shawty Lo. Many songs have
leaked but haven't gained much popularity, such as "I Promise" Ft.
Busta Rhymes,
"Simple" Ft. Juelz
Santana & Keri
Hilson, "20 Dollars", "In Luv Wit Ya Boy" and "Wheels fall off"
, both featuring Lloyd
Banks.
Singles
The first single is "Pop Champagne". The remix to the single
also appears on Jim
Jones's fourth studio album, Pray IV Reign, and features Juelz Santana. The
second single is "Jumping (Out the Window)". The
single's music video was released on January 27, 2009[2].
