This is a list of Taiwanese aborigine ethnic groups. The Republic of China (Taiwan) officially recognizes 14 of these groups. Those that are officially recognized are marked with a "*" in the following list. The People's Republic of China officially classifies all of these groups into a single ethnic group, Gaoshan.

• Saisiyat (Saisiat) (賽夏)*
• Sakizaya (撒奇萊雅)*
• Seediq (賽德克)*
• Siraya (西拉雅)
• Tao (Yami) (雅美/達悟)*
• Taokas (道卡斯)
• Thao (邵)*
• Truku (Taroko) (太魯閣)*
• Tsou (Cou) (鄒)*

Other ethnic groups include the Hoklo, Hakka, and mainlanders.
