European route E 11 is a road part of the International E-road network. It begins in Vierzon and ends in Montpellier, is 570 km long, and all of it in France.
The road follows the route Vierzon - Montlucon - Clermont-Ferrand - Montpellier.
The road uses the highest major road bridge in the world, the Viaduc de Millau, 2460 m (8070 ft) long and 270 m (886 ft) high, from ground to road.
The route also passes (but does not cross) the Viaduc de Garabit, which was built in the 1880s by Gustave Eiffel.
