Evan Thomas Sharpley (born November 4, 1986, in Pontiac, Michigan) is an American Football player, and the third-string quarterback at Notre Dame in the fall of 2009. Sharpley was drafted in the 2009 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners in the 50th round, with selection #1493. He chose to return to Notre Dame in the fall for his 5th year at Notre Dame.

On October 13, 2007, Sharpley replaced starting quarterback Jimmy Clausen midway through Notre Dame's loss to Boston College. Sharpley was later named the Irish's starting quarterback for their contest against USC on October 20, 2007.[1]
