Extravagant Challenge (traditional Chinese: 華麗的挑戰; pinyin: Hua Li De Tiao Zhan) is an upcoming Taiwanese Drama. Directed by Niu Cheng Ze, it is based on the Japanese manga Skip Beat! The main leads will be Taiwanese idols Ariel Lin and Jerry Yan.

Synopsis

Sixteen year old Mogami Kyoko (Ariel Lin) sacrificed her life to support her boyfriend, Sho, so he could become a successful singer. One day, Sho suddenly breaks up with Kyoko, leaving her with nothing, and Kyoko vows revenge. She decides to delve into the entertainment world and become even more successful than Sho to get back at him. Kyoko then meets Ren (Jerry Yan), another actor in her agency, who helps motivate her to become a top entertainer.

Notes

• Joe Cheng was originally rumored to be one of the male leads, Ren or Sho.
• The show was halted because the script was being rejudged, and difficulties were encountered between the collaborating companies.^[1]
