ExtremeTech is a computing website that reports hardware related news, offers review of the latest computer hardware, and do-it-yourself guides to computing. It is a Ziff Davis website, and often partners with PC Magazine.

The site ceased updating daily with deep, technical content on 26th June 2009, because Ziff Davis laid off the core staff[1]. The site is currently run by PCMag.com editors.

Former ExtremeTech staffers Loyd Case, Jim Lynch, Joel Durham, Jason Cross and Robert Heron can be found writing for their various blogs and sites.
