This is a list of the extreme points of Romania, the points that are farther north, south, east or west than any other location.

Latitude and longitude

• Northernmost point: Horodiştea, a village in Botoşani County, on the border with Ukraine, 48°15′N 26°43′E / 48.25°N 26.717°E / 48.25; 26.717 (Horodiştea (North))
• Southernmost point: Zimnicea, a town in Teleorman County, on the border with Bulgaria, 43°40′N 25°22′E / 43.667°N 25.367°E / 43.667; 25.367 (Zimnicea (South))
• Westernmost point: Beba Veche, a village in Timiş County, on the border with Hungary and Serbia, 46°08′N 20°19′E / 46.133°N 20.317°E / 46.133; 20.317 (Beba Veche (West))
• Easternmost point: Insula Sarpelor,Marea Neagra, . Also the eastermost point in the contigous EU (21 states).

Height

• Highest Point: Moldoveanu Peak, in the Făgăraş Mountains, (2,544 m), 45°35′57″N 24°44′10″E / 45.59917°N 24.73611°E / 45.59917; 24.73611 (Moldoveanu Peak (highest))
• Lowest Point: Black Sea shore
