Fernando Giménez (born July 10, 1984 in Paraguay) is a Paraguayan footballer, who currently plays midfielder for Chilean club U. de Concepción.
He began in his native country playing for amateur teams. In 2006, Giménez arrived to Chile to play for Puerto Montt. That season the team made it to the playoffs and Giménez was very important to the team.
In 2007, Giménez moved to U. de Concepción. However, he only stayed six months before returning to Puerto Montt. In the Clausura of that year Puerto Montt was relegated to the second division but Giménez was the team's top goal scorer.
In 2008, he returned to U. de Concepción.
On 2010 he was transferred to Ecuadorian giants Emelec to cover the left side of the pitch, after being recommended by the argentinian manager Jorge Sampaoli.
