Flingsmash, also known as Span Smasher in Japan, is an upcoming video game for Wii, announced by Nintendo on its press site on 2 June 2009 during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).[2] The game is under development by Artoon and was compatible with the Wii MotionPlus. A release date has not yet been set. Gameplay is action-oriented and consists of players using the Wii Remote to hit the character, Smasher, towards obstacles and collectable items.
