The Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences is located in Orlando, Florida. It is a Seventh-day Adventist institution which specializes in allied health and nursing education. The college is associated with Florida Hospital, and Adventist Health System which is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church[2].


Degree Programs

The college offers certificate programs in diagnostic medial sonography, advanced modalities, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, mammography, and nuclear medicine. An Associate of Science degree in diagnostic medical sonography, nuclear medicine, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, pre-professional studies, and radiography are offered. There are also four year degrees in nursing and radiologic sciences.

Accreditation and student demographics

The college is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as well as specific accreditation or licensing bodies for specific programs.[3]

Between 2001 and 2005 the college saw a student body increase of 174%. Florida residents comprise nearly 80% of the student body. 82% of the student population are women.[4]
