Foodland is an independent 2010 feature film which was filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This film is currently in the late stages of post production. The script was selected to the National Screen Institute of Canada's Features First Program [1]. It stars Clayton Champagne, Ross McMillan and Kim Poirier. Foodland is being produced by Julijette inc. productions [2]. The film is set for release in 2010.
It marks Kim Poirier's first time singing on screen in a feature film as she sings the song You Made Me Love You (I Didn't Want to Do It)

The story follows a naïve grocery clerk, Trevor, as his life spirals out of control when he inadvertently helps his inept manger, Ian, rob the store. When the money is lifted off Trevor and Ian, they enlist the help of Glen, a slimy, incompetent detective, to retrieve the stolen cash. But events soon go awry and Trevor must now determine friend from foe, and get the cash back before it’s too late.
