Forbidden Science is a Cinemax "After Dark" (adults-only) feature series about a world in which people fulfill erotic desires with androids. It is a combination of film noir and sexploitation. Forbidden Science was a 13-episode series which follows the lives of the "4Ever Innovations" staff. Julia White (played by Vanessa Broze) is a clone of a computer/human brain researcher by the name of Stephanie White, who via a memory chip from the recently deceased researcher, is able to join the staff and continue Stephanie's work. Colin Sommers (Levi Freeman) is the owner of 4Ever Innovations. Bethany Montrose (Joanne Alderson) joins 4Ever Innovations as the head of sales, a friend of Colin's from before the show. Dr. Philip Wise (Austin Ball), and Dr. Penny Serling (Noelle DuBois [1]) play researchers in android technology and virtual reality. Laura Lucas (Mary LeGault) is the assistant and lover to Colin Sommers.
