Francis "Fran" Kranz (born July 13, 1983) is an American actor. He may be best-known for his role as Topher Brink in Joss Whedon's sci-fi drama Dollhouse.[1][2] He previously starred in the television comedy, Welcome to the Captain.
Kranz grew up in Los Angeles, and attended Harvard-Westlake High School. Kranz is a graduate of Yale University,[3] and currently lives in Los Angeles. Kranz's film credits include Orange County, Donnie Darko, Training Day, Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas, Matchstick Men and The Village.
