George Frederick Brickell (November 9, 1906, in Saffordville, Kansas – April 8, 1961) was a professional baseball player who played 8 seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball. Brickwell died in Wichita, Kansas; his son, former Major League shortstop Fritz Brickell, was born in Wichita and died there more than 4 years after his father.
