Seneca's Free Software and Open Source Symposium is a yearly event at Seneca College. As the name suggests, the focus is on Free and Open Source software. Run by faculty, this event is a maintstay on many student's calendars and people from the IT industry. Speakers for the 2008 conference include members of Mozilla, Fedora, Google, IBM, Source Forge, OpenOffice.org, Novell, Eclipse and the Creative Commons[1]. Also for the 2008 event there is a new Teaching Open Source @ FSOSS program [2][3]
