Frisman Jackson (born June 12, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) was an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League.

College career

Jackson, a South Side Chicago native, played high school football at Morgan Park High School on Chicago.[1] He is considered to be one of the best WR to play at Western Illinois University. He holds school records for "The Most Receptions in a Game"(14) and "Most Yards in a Game"(286). During his college career he was also the teams starting quarterback through his junior year, where he holds the schools "Single Game Rushing Yards by a QB" (109). As a senior WR caught 55 balls for 1,047 yards. Prior to playing at Western, Jackson was enrolled at Northern Illinois University as a quarterback.

NFL career

In 2002 he was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Western Illinois University. Jackson played in four NFL seasons from 2002-2005 for the Cleveland Browns. Before the start of the 2006 NFL season he was released by the Browns. In January 2007 he signed as a free agent with the New York Jets, but was released before the season began.

Personal Information

In October 2004, Frisman married his college sweetheart, Lindsey Hepner. He currently resides in Long Island, New York with his wife and their two pets, Bubba and Jynx.
