Trivia

  • The reveal of Esmeralda being Satanico Pandemonium was not in the original script, but came about at the suggestion of test audiences.
  • When the camera pans back in the last scene, the inn is revealed to have been built on top of an Aztec pyramid, presumably the same one as the bar in the first film.
  • A running theme in the From Dusk till Dawn films is that only two human protagonists survive in the end. In this film it was Johnny Madrid and Ambrose Bierce.
  • In the original script Johnny and Esmeralda fall in love and are the only ones that survive. This idea was later dropped.
