programs. G&K Service's branded apparel and facility services
programs provide rental-lease or purchase options through its
direct sale programs.
G&K Services primary offerings are custom-embroidered logo
apparel programs, facility services such as restroom supplies and
floor mats, clean room garments, and process control services. It
serves various industries including automotive, warehousing,
distribution, transportation, energy, manufacturing, food
processing, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, retail, restaurants,
security, airline, and hospitality.

- Food Safety Solutions - G&K Services
provides ProSura, a program to mitigate cross-contamination to
improve food safety
in the food processing, grocery and restaurant industries. ProSura
supports organizations in these industries with their Hazard
Analysis and Critical Control Points ( HACCP ) plans. Along with the
BioSmart fabric
technology kills many common bacteria and is the only food safety
program of its kind currently in place in the garment supplier industry.
- Flame Resistant Technology - G&K Services
is a large provider of flame resistant
garments and personal protective equipment by developing and
providing the ProTect flame resistant safety solutions.
- Clean Room Solutions - The G&K Services
Accutrak scanning and tracing system identifies pick-up, delivery,
usage, wash history and repair status of all garments for
traceability and inventory control for the clean room
industry.

G&K began as a small, family-owned dye house and has grown
into a large provider of branded identity apparel programs and
facility services.
- 1902 - Company founded as Twin City Steam Dye Works renamed to
Gross & Kronick Dyers
- 1910 - Gross & Kronick introduces "door-to-door" laundry
service
- 1948 - G&K offers "diaper service" due to the baby
boom
