GapEast Broadcasting (a.k.a. Gap III) (capitalized as GAPEAST) is a newly formed broadcasting company based in Maryland. It is headed by its Presedent James P. Donahoe and owned by Oaktree Capital Management along side of Gap Central Broadcasting and GapWest. Its main goal is to acquire and manage radio properties in small and mid-size markets east of the Mississippi River. It is unknown what stations GapEast will acquire at this time[1], however like its other 2 Gap Broadcasting subsidiaries, it's likely to acquire some of the radio assets owned by Clear Channel Communications.
