George Iler Case was born 13 November 1899 in Indiana to Abraham H. Case (c1858-?) and Martha Ann ? (c1858-bef1930) and died 8 September 1957 in Hamburg, in Fremont County, in Iowa, at the age of 57 years of unspecified causes. George Iler married Myrtle Melvina Jones 22 March 1928 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri.


OBITUARY - George Iler Case, son of A. H. and Martha Ann Case, was born near Georgetown, Indiana, November 13, 1899 and died in Hamburg on September 8, 1957, at the age of 7 years, 9 months, and 25 days. March 22, 1928 he was united in marriage to Myrtle M Jones and to this union one daughter, Sally, was born. Mr. Case was a member of the Methodist Church of Hamburg and for more than fifty years lived in the Cox Chapel and Hamburg communities. He is survived by his wife Myrtle, daughter Sally Ann Rystedt, her husband Tom, one granddaughter Debra and one grandson, Bradley Allen, two sisters, Lulu and Bertha Jaeckel of Hamburg, two brothers, Alfred and Cobert Case of Hamburg, other relatives and many many friends. Funeral services here held on Wednesday, September 11, 1957, at the Methodist Church at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J E McClellan officiating. The Rush Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements. Internment was in the Hamburg Cemetery.
