A German creole, more properly a
German-based creole language, is a creole language
with a significant influence from the German language.
Unserdeutsch - ("Our German"), or
Rabaul Creole German, is a creole language spoken
primarily in Papua New Guinea and the northeast of
Australia. It was formed
among the New Guinean children residing in a German-run orphanage. Fewer than 100 native
speakers exist today, 15 of whom live in New Britain.
Namibian Black German or
Küchendeutsch - a German creole formerly spoken in German
South West Africa, now Namibia.
