• Gifford Pinchot (August 11, 1865– October 4, 1946) was the first Chief of the United States Forest Service (1905–1910) and the Governor of Pennsylvania (1923–1927, 1931–1935). He was a Republican and Progressive.
• Gifford Pinchot III grandson of Gifford Pinchot, author of best-selling business book "Intrapreneuring" on the the topic of Intrapreneurship, and co-founder and president of Bainbridge Graduate Institute, a Sustainable MBA business program.
• Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a U.S. National Forest located in southern Washington, USA.
• Gifford Pinchot State Park is a 2,238-acre (906 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Warrington Township, York County, Pennsylvania in the United States.
